After two long years I finally get to go back to sweet home Canada, I can’t wait I got so eager I decided to post this countdown for all of my friends there. I'm going with my friend Ahmad. Its going to be a lot of fun.

Unknown (Movie Review)

I was watching this movie yesterday, and I was kind off shocked to how good it was. I think what shocked me is that I never heard it of it before. The movie was very smart, the acting was terrific, and the directing was superb.

The movie takes place in an old factory when 5 men wake up not remembering who they are, and how they got there. Their memories starts to come to them back in small segments, and based in that they have to decide who to trust, who is their friends and who is their enemy.

The Movie keeps you guessing until the end. Link

Rambo (2008)

Like bring back Rocky Balboa wasn’t ridicules enough, Sly is bringing back RAMBO, yes RAMBO I can’t believe how is he managing to convince people that it’s a good idea. Would Sly still be believable as strong, powerful, destroy anything Rambo, I mean COME ON the guy is 60 years old, please start getting roles that fit your age. I hoped he will be only issuing orders from behind a desk or something, because that’s the only way this movie will work, but nooo the plot says “Vietnam vet John Rambo is forced to emerge from his reclusive lifestyle and take justice into his own hands after his daughter gets kidnapped”.

I guess if you can’t make new good movies, you can bring back your old movies that people liked. I know a lot of people are fans of the Rambo trilogy, and believe me I like them too, but let’s not ruin a good thing don’t you agree.

Die Hard 4 (2007)

Bruce Willis is starring yet again in the forth sequel for Die Hard, I guess Hollywood can’t make new exciting Action Movies anymore, so lets bring back a famous action trilogy that everybody loved such as Die Hard. Honestly I enjoyed all of them but that was back when I was 15 (and i still do), and I hope that this one will not disappoint me.

It’s extremely annoying to me that sometimes Hollywood will bring back a famous and exciting trilogy, which ended on a high note, after everyone almost forgot about it and then make one more sequel that really sucks and it solely purpose is to get more money from that trilogy’s fans. I hope that this is not the case here and the teaser does look exciting, and I hope Bruce Willis will look believable as the tough guy in his current age. I will wait for the reviews though before going and watching it, that’s for sure.

Wii VS PS3 VS XBOX 360

All of the nextGen consoles are out, each delivering their unique features. It’s really hard to decide between them, but everybody have their favorites. Specs wise you could say that the PS3 slightly beats the 360, and the Wii comes in deserving 3^rd spot, but that deosn’t means the PS3 is the best to choose.

The Wii although it’s in my opinion the worst of the nextGen consoles, but you have to admit it does has a unique style of playing that release the inner child in you. The Wii controller are untraditional, its motion and point and click based. If you want to play boxing then you have to box, if you want to play golf then you have to stand and pretend your playing real golf and the same goes for all other sport and shooting games. I’m pretty sure the Wii will be fun for a bit, but if I want to play golf I go and play golf, when I want to play video games, I want to be relaxed on my couch, laid back pressing buttons on my controller, but I truly think it’s the ultimate group game, its will be a lot of fun to play with a lot of people.

PS3 has the highest specs of the nextGen consoles, and it comes with all the exiting games that it had before only with way better graphics and playing experience. They also enhanced their online gaming functionality (but still not better than the XBOX 360). After 7 years of PS2, PS3 is release, the play station fans can’t get enough of it, and riots broke out in front of mega stores in the US to get them before they sell out. The only draw back I can see in the PS3 is their controllers. I mean they tried to make it motion sensitive, but in my opinion they failed, because unlike the Wii the motion sensitivity feature took away the vibrating feature of the controller. Instead of vibrating controller the whole screen will shake, just imagine that for a second, you’re playing let say Rainbow Six or Medal of Honor and every time a Bomb explodes the whole screen shakes, you have any idea how annoying this is.

XBOX 360 which is my favorite out of the three, the XBOX 360 is very close in specs to the PS3, it’s true that the PS3 has like 7 processors and the XBOX 360 has three only, but the XBOX 360 processors are twice as fast the PS3 processors. The XBOX is still the king of online gaming with no contest. Add to that the Media Center feature, which enables you to plug your XBOX to the network and play movies, pictures and music of your shared folders. It supports all formats that windows media player supports. The controllers are just like the old one, they just are wireless, maybe smaller and the vibrating option still there. The hard drive now is removable and upgradeable.

As you see they all are fun and entertaining, and based on your need and style you will pick the one that suit you the most.

Miami Vice (Movie Review)

I watched Miami Vice yesterday, and I have to say it’s one of the worst movies I seen this year. It’s supposed to be an Action movie, but it carried no excitement what so ever. The movie sent into a 2 hour nap. It was boring and dull. I was also disappointed with Colin Farrell and Jamie Fox performances, I like these guys but in that movie they were dreadful. The Role just didn’t fit.

You might like this movie if you liked the old series I guess, but I never seen the original Miami Vice series so I can’t judge. What bugged me the most that it was directed by Michael Mann, one of my favorite directors, but that’s not the first time he disappoints me. Anyway if you’re looking for a fast base action movie that keeps you glued to the screen, this is not it. If you’re looking for a smart story with shocking twists, this is not it. If you’re looking for a dull story with a lot of gun shots exchange, then this is your movie.

This is just my opinion I could be wrong.

Brazilian Teves

Teves was forced to wear the Brazilian Jersey (Argentina‘s biggest rivalry) as a punishment for his behavior in the Sheffield United match, when he stormed out after being substituted. The punishment was decided by his teammates, they made him wear the shirt he truly hate the Brazilian jersey for one whole day of training. After the training these were Teves words "I just couldn't train in a Brazil shirt. I wouldn't do it. It was like asking an Englishman to wear a German kit”
